The Adaro Overland Conveyor

GHD’s role was to develop design criteria, preliminary design and contract documentation as well as define interface data sufficient for the calling of tenders for the construction of a 64km long PT Adaro overland conveyer.

This phase concluded with assistance in selecting the preferred tenderer as well as finalisation of technical documentation, which formed the technical component of the contract for the works. GHD was also commissioned to undertake the preliminary design of a new dumping station and port loading facility.

As part of the package, GHD has undertaken the preliminary design of a power transmission line from their future power plant, the main power source for the conveyor as well as water transmission for the power plant.
