Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) Building Audits

GHD undertook a comprehensive building study and audit on the Putra World Trade Centre PWTC). This world-class Malaysian centre hosts conventions, exhibitions and corporate functions, and sprawls over 1.7 million square feet.

The 42-storey centre and United Malays National Organisation headquarters combines the best of modern architecture with traditional Malay culture.

The exercise involved conducting overall building audits, and identifying the physical conditions of PWTC complex, which includes the tower block, conference halls, exhibition halls, and the internal surrounding with respect to structural integrity, observable defects, traffic obstruction, unpleasant structures and other existing features available at the centre.

GHD also identified problem and defective areas for improvement and proposed recommendation for the upgrade and expansion of building structures to enhance the image of the complex with state-of-the-art design.
