Dubai Maritime City

GHD completed a security risk assessment, drafted a security plan, and developed security concept design guidelines for a four square-kilometre area of reclaimed land between Dubai's renowned Palm Jumeriah development and Port Rashid.

The Dubai Maritime City is being designed to be the largest maritime hub in the world, enticing international maritime organisations to locate their headquarters in the DMC. It is expected to have 30,000 residents and up to 300,000 daily commuters.

The completion of this initial phase of works has enabled us to establish a security presence in the Dubai office and has resulted in further works being commissioned, including a security design for the Creek Towers and Plaza, an 8000 bed  habour accommodation complex, and the design of the wide area CCTV network.

Our experienced professionals in Canberra, Adelaide and Dubai worked  closely with Turner Construction and the Dubai Maritime City Authority to develop a collaborative security solution to protect the Dubai Maritime City.
