Trainee/Cadet drafters

GHD also employs graduate drafters with appropriate qualifications, such as an Associate Degree in Engineering or a Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Geotechnical, Structural, Mining or Industrial Engineering, or Building Design.

An understanding of basic AutoCAD, Civil 3D or GIS applications is essential.

You will be provided with mentoring and continuing on-the-job development activities to further build and refine your skills.

GHD has developed a structured Consultant Development Program for recent graduates to accelerate their skills development and ongoing learning.

This program, which is tailored to suit the office you will be working in, introduces graduates over a three-year period to a range of business, technical and leadership skills through a combination of tailored learning and development programs, site visits, business and social networking events, and mentoring.

Young Professionals group

Established in 2002, the Young Professionals group is a networking group for people with less than 10 years’ professional work experience. Through a range of diverse social, community and professional development activities, it provides a unique opportunity to build strong working relationships with your peers while equipping you with the necessary workplace skills to achieve your career goals and reach your full potential.
